An increase in unresponsive buyers / non paying bidders , Time for change

Hi Since eBay removed negative feedback for buyers years ago, there has been an increase in non paying bidders I have had 1 item I've had to relist 3 times because the buyers have been unresponsive.I think it would be a great idea if buyer's dont complete the transaction it shows up next to their profile how many unpaid strikes they have had.eBay is also losing out here not just the sellers..You could of sold your item to the lower bidder and they might of paid for it.instead you get these bidders that over bid others and never reply to your emails or pay for the item(s) they won.

Come on ebay add this feaure we understand you give bidders that don't pay unpaid strikes, but let it show in their public profile the same way we get public feedback from the buyers. What are we sellers to ebay silver ?? and buyers are gold..

Fair is fair.

Regards
Johnny

Can you find a better outlet for your rage? Every post you are trying to pick fights. As you like to preach rules so much, please take the time to verse yourself on the forum rules - trolling for one is against the rules as is swearing.

Issues with politeness, issues with assuming and add sexism. Shame the post has gone. I don't get the whole raging over anyone defending  sellers.

I don't know the answer to the problem. I do know that rules change.

This is one you need to watch out for buyers buying 2 lots by mistake they then receive an unpaid strike for not paying for that item, then they leave you bad feedback .how can they leave feedback for an item that they received a unpaid strike for.this is crazy and no reply from ebay.

I would probably leave you bad feedback too if you refused to mutually cancel the sale and instead opened a non-payer dispute with what you said, is a mistake.

I'm replying to this message because I don't know how to start a new message of my own though related and completely agree.

I have started to sell on ebay and have 12 non paying customers since Dec 13. Recently I decided to leave feedback for the non paying buyers.  What I have experienced is one of the buyers who didn't go through with the purchase and I left feedback for has left me negative feedback and all low ratings!  I find it difficult to understand how a buyer can comment on their experience of a sale when they didn't even go through with it?  How are the questions to how quickly did the seller post the item etc even relevant?  If a buyer doesn't commit to a purchase then they should forfeit their right to provide feedback.  Can other more experienced sellers please advise on this situation because I don't think I will leave any feedback  for the non paying buyers.  Do most sellers leave non paying customers feedback???  What is the usual practice in these types of transactions?  Thank you.
