Another Seller has reported some of my Items incorrectly as violating ebay's rules and Ebay have removed them from may page, despite the fact this Seller reporting me is selling the exact same thing. I have tried talking to Ebay many times over 4 weeks to tell them they arent actually what he is saying they are and sending them proof that they do not violate their rules and that the reporting Seller also has the exact same items for sale but nearly 4 weeks later, I still have not had it resolved and Ebay resolutions keep saying someone will look into it and including them checking that the reporting Seller is selling the exact item. How do I get through to them and get the items relisted. Thanks in advance.

Hi. Thankyou. I will look into the Vero possibility. It's a shame they just be more specific. Yes, it is new and yes, it's tge same item and brand you can buy elsewhere in a physical store. Thanks for your help. As mentioned I'll look into the Vero. Cheers

How do you know that your 'competition' reported you?

eBay do not listen to 'someone else sells it, why can't I' for one
For another, did this other seller tell you they reported the item(s) ? have you had issues with said seller in the past to make you think so?
And
Most importantly
Is the item something you need to be authorised / have permission to sell?
Part of the VERO programme?
Otherwise copywrite?
A third party involved?
A pre-order item?

Hi. Thanks for responding. Yes, they aren't interested in the fact we both sell the same item - only that mine has been reported and the other Seller hasnt been. However they said they'll look into it but 4 wks later, they haven't.
No. It is not high security and you can buy it online elsewhere. It has been incorrectly reported and is not for the purpose they have been told it is. I have offered to show them that.
I don't know what Veto programme is, sorry. It has not been mentioned though.
Third Party - don't know to be honest.
I ask the Ebay person if it was a competitor and they paused and said "I can't tell you" I'll take that as a probable yes... otherwise, why pause.
No, not a pre order item.
Thankyou.

I asked, Ebay guy paused and said, I can't tell you. I'm going to presume it as being "Yes" otherwise, why pause.
Thanks

I'm sure in eBay email to you they didn't say "another seller has reported", why don't you tell us here what exactly they say?

Because they can’t tell you, and won’t tell you
And yes, as I said, eBay are not interested in the someone else sells it why can’t I
And if you don’t know about VERO or third party then maybe that is the issue
Buying on line elsewhere does not mean anyone can sell whatever the thing is, there are some items that anyone who sells it needs a license to sell, or even permission from the brand
Have you looked at the list of restricted items?
And they won’t look into it, if a seller is banned, they are banned full stop. Very very very rarely is a seller allowed to sell again once the have actually been banned
Also rare is anyone from eBay reading here

I will look into it. Thankyou

Thankyou. I will look into that, although it appears to be a standard item and sold openly elsewhere besides online. They think it is for something, that it is not. I tried to show them that it is not what it is being reported as but am talking to a brick.

I like that a pause means that it was a competitor, I paused while typing this response, does that mean it was me. Come on, its easier to blame a competitor, than you selling dodgy items.
