Another "improovment" from ebay

I honestly do not understand why ebay is doing some changes that does not make things better.

Just of yesterday they changed email notifications they send to sellers for sold items and they removed most of the important things from them.

Before you could see a buyer's user id, you could see how many pieces you sold and you could contact your buyer or update their ebay invoice. Now it is all gone and you have to go to ebay to see all details and do all actions that could be done  by just clicking a link in the email.

And yes, I want to be able to print shipping labels from email notification without "being paid". "Thank you" for not removing it from your email notifications.

Do these people really understaand such thing as system usability?

How can you print a Shipping Label from the Sold email?

Buyers don't nominate a shipping address until they go through checkout.

i just sold an item hour ago, got the buyers name and address in the email notification.... no change at all

of course, Id not send to the email notified address, always wait for the paypal payment and the nominated mailing address therein.

According to ebay, you have not sold anything since the scarf on the 12th July, so how would you know if anything has changed

It has not changed for most of us. Mine last night and today are as normal. This glitch did happen a few months back though where some of the sold notices had half of the information missing. Contact customer support and let them know.

Mine changed last week on one ID, yesterday on the other ID.  I sold last week and this week on both IDs.

I always write up all the details from the sold email and then I check the mailing address later when they pay.  Even if they don't pay straight away it's nice to be able to see at a glance how much sold (and the other details) without having to sign in.

iamanark:  that's just silly - putney probably has other selling ids - no need to be rude to other posters when trying to respond

OP:  there is another thread on the powersellers board about the same thing -  some say it is working for them and some say not - and that it has been reported to ebay as a fault.

FWIW,there has been no change whatsoever to my Sales Advice from eBay. All details are exactly as before.

Sold listings don't usually show in Completed Items for 24 hours so nobody can see what the OP sold in the last 24 hours.
