Anyone else being forced to setup automatic payment of fees?

I just went to list an item and was told I was not able to unless I setup automatic payment for ebay fees. I have always paid my fees using manual payment. Anyone else being forced to setup automatic payments?

I set mine up but always jump and and pay manually so that I am always ahead.

All sellers have to set up an automatic payment method....you are not being singled out for special treatment.

As already mentioned you can still pay the fees manually....you don't have to leave it till ebay takes them out.

To me it's just easier as I leave enough in my PP account to cover each invoice,

What I can't understand is after selling for so long you never realised the fee payment was always automatic.

everyone has to have automatic payment set up, it doesn't mean you have to wait for them to automatically take it out. I pay mine via one time payment on the 17th-18th of each month
