As of last week, the postage option for ebay flat rate satchels has disappeared and now the only option is the new high price Australia Post flat rate satchels is available. Not getting much joy from ebay with answers....anyone know what's happening to them?

Lyndal, with decades of experience in the courier industry, stated facts.
In my Post #14 I asked if Sendle offered Australia Post as a delivery option.
If they do it seems very strange to me.....why would the seller not deal direct with AP rather than through a courier broker?

Theres no mention of sendle using PO boxes and their website says no. But using ebay postage sendle is an option when address is a PO Box.

Heaven help sellers who use Sendle then.
The only couriers who can deliver to PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers are StarTrack and Courier Post (if they still exist after all the amalgamations within AP). I have never seen either of these couriers assocoated with Sendle in the past.
I would like to know how ebay is going to guarantee delivery to a PO Box or Parcel Locker when no couriers will deliver to them.

My local PO says no couriers ever drop parcels off for PO boxes due to the fee involved. Could not really get an answer to the fee though. The parcels I had with PO boxes showed $28 for sendle compared to $8.65 AP, but they where rural and would expect sendle to be dearer. When I get a metro PO box delivery will have to see if the price differs.
Hopefully someone has some experience with PO Boxes and sendle by now.

When AP decided to allow couriers to deliver to PO Boxes the fee was $16 per item......I have no idea if it has changed over the years.
StarTrack has always been able to deliver to PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers because they are owned by AP.
