Are ebay fiddling with our viewing numbers?

I have been relisting 5-10 items at a time, then straight to active listings to revise and check , and everytime, it says 3 views. Nearly every listing.. the listings have been active only a minute, not even searchable probably, and have three views... This happened all day yesterday, and most are still on 3 today still, so I wonder if ebay automatically adds the three clicks? Happening again this evening.. trying to make us think at least there are potential buyers out there ?

Think if you click - it is counted - so far you are the only one watching.

actually, I just revise. and I do recall in the past, when I clicked my own item it didn't count. Sometimes would be on zero.

Id be inclined to say it has been viewed, I just sold a item with less than 10 views.

Some members have their account set to view newly listed items.

I also think when someone has saved a search and to be notified by email, it counts as one immediately the email is sent whether it's viewed yet or not.

That's normal.  I don't know why, but I think it's got something to with listing checks.

I put it down to 1 view being the bot checking your listing and one being you revising. I know if I revise my count goes up. It will also add a view if I click on my listing, but it will only increase once a day.

Some of mine will show 0 views so I'm thinking the bot hasn't scanned it. If I click on it, it shows as 1. I've had sales with only 3 page views, so I don't know how accurate it is.
