Just after a few opinions please as not too sure what to do.
Received an "item not as described" message from a buyer this morning.
I sold her a pair of pre owned shoes and said in listing that they measure 26cm. She says they only measure 25.5cm.
I immediately messaged back and said of course I would arrange return and full return if i had measured wrong - could she please send a photo to me with a measuring tape on them.
She has since sent a photo but it is too small to actually see the measurements on the tape anyway.
All that aside I would have refunded BUT I just went and had a look at what type of feedback she leaves for other sellers.
In 15 out of her last 25 transcations as a buyer she has left negative feedback for the seller - wow she sure is an unlucky buyer.
She even leaves negative feedback if the seller refunds.
So if she is going to leave me negative feedback anyway - should I bother to send her a reund?
What do others think?

Just a quick question - did you put that the measurement was approximately 26cm? I assume this was the internal length of the shoe - this measurement is fraught with danger, as where to exactly measure to is often very difficult. And she's quibbling about 5mm?
I wouldn't refund her as she is probably going to give you a negative anyway.

I only run auctions and if someone places a bid, I always check their feedback left for others, for that very reason. I have actually cancelled a bid in the past due to that buyer being very 'unlucky'.
Your buyer certainly sounds like a scammer if they are willing to argue the point over half a cm. How ridiculous! Me personally, if you're going to cop a negative and trashed star ratings anyway, tell her to stick it and not refund. Why give her what she wants when you're only going to get punished anyway.
These buyers depend on sellers wanting to keep their high rating and play on that.
Don't forget to add her to your blocked buyer list too, so she can't try and scam you again.
Good luck!

I usually have approx on my shoe listing but it is not on this one - doh!
Isn't it always the way.
It was an inside sole measurement as they were sandals.
Yes who would beleive you would quibble over 0.5cm?

I got a red dot for a dispute over measurement. Buyer was asked to supply picture but didn't respond. Ebay told me I should put a tape / ruler next to items with measurements. Like you I usually put approx next to my measurements in the listing but in this instance it was left out of the description. Def one for the Special List.

Never fails, it moment you leave out some detail these things happen.
I didn't click an item as sent on Monday (he purchased on the Saturday), on the Tuesday i get an email abusing me for not sending the item.

Makes you wonder why we bother, eh?

The measurement you provided in your listing is absolutely correct for the Australian Sizing of the shoe.
That is one horrific Buyer.
You provided the brand & the brand sizing in your listing I think this Buyer would find any excuse and seems quite adept at it given the amount of Negs she has left.
I would call ebay and ask them what to do.
Best of luck to you, you have my sympathy.
