Are people removing paypal as a payment option, and how do you do that to avoid double-dipping fees?

The new eBay rules demanding a 13% slice of payment (including the theft of postage costs) is bad enough, buyt it is a clear case of double dipping when people pay via paypal and you lose even more. This has been a disastrous change for eBay, pretty much made me decide to put sales on hold, but is there a way of refusing to accept paypal from within Australia to avoid this unfair double-dipping on fees?

There are no paypal fees once you are on managed payments.

If a buyer uses paypal the money goes to ebay for deposit into your bank account.

that is apparently what is supposed to happen but i have two examples where both PayPal and eBay have taken fees. After the first one they said it was a mistake, now it has happened again

This double dipping is my concern. - Paypal get the money first so take their fees as they've always done, then pass on what's remaining to ebay who then take their increased fees (particularly if non business) (Only Stores seem to get an overall lesser fee) and then goes into seller's bank account (none of ebay's business)! The same may apply to other paying methods also - there is absolutely no clear info from ebay. They just say "may" all the time. I think they are trying to make everyone have a store.  Has  anyone got any absolute clear information?

Paypal take their fees before passing the money on to eBay, I believe, but as eBay is the one receiving the money, eBay is the one paying Paypal.

I am certainly not paying 2.6% more than I was before MP.

When you are finally on Managed Payments, there'll be no 'double dipping'

Paypal is only missing from sellers that are on Managed Payments

Guys, "chatted" with eBay today. Under the Managed Payments system there is a fee of 30c per deposit into your account. (eBay wishes to use a third party (forget its name, starts with "A"??) to collect the money. There will be a fee of some sort to collect the buyer's payment and there will be a fee to transfer the payment after deduction of eBay fees into your bank account. Imagine the mess, if an aggrieved buyer who pays by credit card disputes the transaction with his/her bank.)

Since when has Paypal charged a fee for using paypal to pay for an item. If I pay for something through paypal I am not charged a fee.  Paypal fees only apply if you RECEIVE payment into your paypal account. Under managed payments I no longer receive money into my paypal account so I do not pay any paypal fees.  I pay the equivalent fees to eBay (Ayden) now so no double dipping.
