There appears to be an ebay glitch when listing an item as pick up only.
Many are showing as free postage in the search.
I have reported it, however the more that report it will see a more expedited repair.
If it remains for some time, it may be a good idea to mention Pick up only in the title if re-listing.
The technical site issue option is no longer there, so this is selling, listing issue -

There have been a number of posts and again just today in the AC someone else asking about free post on pickup. A bad glitch and the cause of many potential headaches for sellers I think.
I have reported and thank you fro the link

They are treating it as a suggestion instead of a need to get it fixed,:-(

Have done and he did see that there is a problem and he will pass it on,:-D

He also suggested that the suggestion box can also be used for problems with the site.
Well they had to put something else in place seeing as they removed the technical issues from the contact eBay reasons ,;-)

As far as I am aware this problem has always been there and it is the way the seller sets up the listing.
If wanting to offer Pick Up Only under the Postage Section for Domestic Buyers the sellers need to choose No Postage - Pick up only from the drop down menu. When sellers do it this way the handling time box disappears.
What a lot of sellers do is when it comes to postage is that the drop down box defaults to Flat - same cost to all buyers.
The seller doesn't fill in the postage costs in but ticks the next box down - Offer Additional Services and that is where they are ticking Local Pick Up.
Basically, without realising what they are doing the seller is accidentally offering a flat rate postage which comes up as free postage as they haven't entered a postage amount plus local pick up. When doing it this way the seller also has to enter a handling time.
This has always been very confusing and it is totally understandable how sellers don't know the correct way to offer local pick up only.
I actually did two separate test listings which I listed and then ended so if anyone wants to see the difference they are in my unsold listings.
