I am on a parcel contract so this doesnt affect me but it might affect you. Another 3-4% increase.
Australia Post has announced a number of price changes that will take effect from 2 March 2015. This is part of our normal bi annual price review. Official notifications will be sent out shortly if you have not already received them. Customers with eParcel, Parcel and International contracts are not impacted by these changes.
The price and product changes will occur on 2 March 2015 include:
Business Letter Services
Metered/ Imprint Mail – will increase by an average of 4.8 per cent
PreSort Letters – will increase by an average of 6.8 per cent
Charity Mail – will increase by an average of 1.2 per cent
Clean Mail - will increase by an average of 4.6 per cent
Print Post - will increase by an average of 3.9 per cent
Local Country - will increase by an average of 4.5 per cent
Reply Paid - will increase by an average of 2.7 per cent. The Reply Paid annual fee will also increase by 8.6 per cent from $87.50 to $95.00.
The Regular PreSort Medium category is being discontinued. This is in line with the discontinuation of the Priority PreSort Medium category in 2014.
Parcel Post:
Parcel Post Postage Assessed services- will increase by an average of 3.1 per cent
Prepaid Parcel Post Satchels (5kg) – will increase by an average of 2.4 per cent
Cash on delivery within Australia – will increase by up to 5.9 per cent
Return Paid Parcels - will increase by up to 3.7 per cent
Local Country Parcels - will increase by up to 9.6 per cent
Express Post:
Express Post Postage Assessed services - will increase by an average of 3.1 per cent
Prepaid Parcel Post satchels (5kg) - will increase by an average of 2.3 per cent
Philatelic, boxes and merchandise
Packaging – Prices for mailing tubes TU1, TU2 and TU3 will increase between 3 and 4 per cent
Introduction of three new products – Rigid A4 mailer, Rigid A5 mailer and 5kg satchel liner

Those darn vowels being all so close together on the keyboard - at least it wasn't a word that changes the entire message when I hit the wrong key (I try to refrain from wishing people good luck, they often thought I was being overtly flirtatious with the mix up of I's and U's.... ).

Would be handy if they produced a post tariff with ebay fees built in !
