What an absolutely ridiculous statement !

When there is wrong doing and injustice, people should never stop complaining !

The wrongs of this world would never be righted with an attitude like that

So you think if it happened in the past then you should not complain about it
.
So the Australian Aboriginal should not complain about the Stolen Generation because it happened in the past ?
.
They should have complained back then and now it is too late to complain

I love the hypocrisy.
eBay tell us not to over charge on postage, whilst they gleefully steal up to 10 per cent from us for a service they have nothing to do with.
Just breathtakingly arrogant, typical of a monopoly.

I have no complaints about fees being charged on postage, I have been paying it for years because I have always included postage in the item price for my store items. As for my second hand items they usually post for under eight bucks so adding 10c to the cost of every item will mean I am not making any less money. The only thing I think is grossly unfair is that the fee is paid on the full price of overseas postage instead of being charged at the cost of domestic as it is in the US.

On the money with your post, agree 100% with your statement.
Some posters need to take a reality check, not everyone has time in their lives to follow the twists and turns that eBay takes including perusing the spam eBay sends out, FGS in this trading place there are business sellers, hobby sellers, occassional sellers, new sellers, returning sellers etc etc.
The only deadline to comment on changes that others may or may not be unhappy or confused about exists in the limited imaginations of others.

If I sell an item for $10 with postage costs additional at $5.. ebay takes their FVF on the $10 and the $5 - total $15
Whats the difference? eBay is still getting the FVF on shipping if postage is included in the item cost.
eBay FVF on postage/shipping applies in UK and US also.
Honestly, though, where something like that can and does make a difference doesn't begin and end with what eBay gets out of the deal.
One rather glaring difference is you can't combine and reduce postage if the buyer purchases something in addition to that item. Considering FVF is charged on the total a buyer pays, anything that reduces what a buyer pays, reduces FVF.
As an aside, I'm glad the FVF on postage is still causing unrest - long-term complaint and resistance has a greater chance of being taken notice of than the immediate, outraged flash-in-the-pan type reactions you sometimes get upon announcement of changes. People have longer to think about it, and if they remain upset instead of accepting it and so on, it speaks volumes. One day maybe that volume will be loud enough for eBay to have no choice but to listen.

I would never include the postage price directly in items I sell, as it is misleading to consumers and there are laws against deceptive practices such as these.
Where ever I have offered free post, it is a true saving to those buying, I have either chosen not to directly discount the item price, or chosen to fund from my overall selling profits across the board.
