Authenticity Guarantee

Hello,

I recently sold an authentic designer bag on eBay for the first time.

I am confused, received an Authenticity Guarantee email, saying that I need to send the item for authentication before it’s sent to the buyer.  What does this mean?

I also received a policy violation notification.  I don't believe I've violated any policy.  The bag is authentic and was advertised as such.  I have original proof of purchase, etc.  What does this mean?

I am unsure if I am posting the bag to eBay or the buyer?

Any help would be most appreciated, thank you.

LOL.

I was going to comment that snd seems to know a lot about them!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were searching for something ages ago. Can't remember what now, and these showed up in the results. So, we clicked on it. I'm like, what the absolute eff???? I said to hubby, DO NOT search for them, log out of his account and I'll log into my posting account if you want to look, or he'll be hounded to death by ebay ads. What an eye opener that was!!!!!!

We couldn't help ourselves, we had to do a search and the results were in the hundreds. All 0 or low feedback accounts, because obviously ebay shuts them down when the bots get hold of them, but holy heck! When you looked at the sold listings, they were making a motza!

Then I got home from work one day and hubby gave me a gift. Here spouse, have this 3 pack of lacy undies. We can sell them! I promptly slapped him in the face! Those lacy undies are still sitting in a plastic bag in the wardrobe 5+ years later, because I absolutely hate lacy undies, and you can't return underwear.
