BUYER FOUND MY HOME NUMBER ON INTERNET. HARASSED MY LANDLORD

Buyer was unhappy with an item and asked for a refund when "no returns accepted" was clearly displayed.

The buyer is now threatening to take me to the Police and is calling my home number and shouting at my landlords. She found my number on the internet (I live in shared housing).

I have told her that she had no right to contact me in that manner and she has admitted contact in Ebay emails.

I cant find any Ebay policy regarding her trauling the internet to find my home number and harrassing my landlords.

Can someone shed some light as she has now opened a case with Paypal and I want to discuss her conduct with them.

Thank you

Click on help & contact and then click on report a member and follow the prompts.

No member is allowed to contact you in this way if it's about a transaction through ebay

A buyer can request a seller's details by requesting them from eBay.If she did then you would have got an email from eBay about that.

eBay has the Money Back Guarantee,so it doesn't really matter if your listing states "no returns".

Best you be reading the MBG details as they are on every page & every listing.

Your buyer opened a case by hitting the big blue button next to every item bought "Return This Item"

Keep all ebay messages from the buyer & they may also read yours to her.

This buyer didn't request OP s details through the proper channels she got the information off the net so this is harrasment and the buyer will find themselves in trouble.

All members need to follow the correct procedure.

aiisp, you are on the Australian Boards BTW. I would hope the same rules apply in the UK. Report them to ebay.
