Bad Mailing address but no Response

I have a new buyer who has bought an item but I can see that their mailing address is incomplete.

Looking in Google Maps their street is is several blocks long with lots of residences but they have not put the street number on their PayPal address.

I am quite sure that if I mail it then it will never get there and will result in INR.

I have sent a message asking but got no response.

At this point in time they have not paid either, so could yet go to UID I guess.

What do you do in such a case?

Bad Mailing address but no Response

This one ended up in a UID cases anyway.

So open/shut case.

Didn't have to worry about it in the end.

If they pay with paypal that may have their full address so till they pay do not worry about it.

If you post to the address seen on the paypal payment and post with trackable postage then you are covered by paypal seller protection so keep anything that shows postage to the address given on the paypal payment.

Try looking up White Pages - that would give you a street number.

Wait until they do, IMHO. Not much point worrying about an address that hasn't been indicated as the "ship to" address...yet. Smiley Tongue

The address on the "your item sold" email or showing in order details prior to checkout being completed, really has nothing to do with postage, despite them often being the same address as the one buyers go on to use during checkout, and they definitely don't have anything to do with PayPal, it is just the primary address registered with eBay.
