Just wondering, what's the best way to send a concert ticket?
I'm assuming by using an envelope without the window would be best - but should I just pop it in the envelope by itself or perhaps cover it in something like a bit of paper to be on the safe side? (Fun Fact: My grandma used to be super paranoid about snooping AusPost employees so when she'd send a gift card in the mail she'd wrap it in a piece of foil before sticking it into the envelope. )
Also, am I able to purchase tracking AND signature-on-delivery for the envelope?

Registered post will give you tracking (of sorts) and signature on delivery. I wouldn't go any less for a concert ticket as I'd imagine it wouldn't be cheap! Depending on where it's being sent to, I'd also consider express with signature. If the buyer is in NSW standard post should be find, but if they're interstate I'd send it express. Last thing you want is for it to get way laid and the buyer misses the concert!
Edit: As it's flexible, you'd be able to post in an express envelope, which is far cheaper than an express parcel or satchel. Probably not much more than sending registered.

What Tippy said.
My daughter sold tickets about 3 years back and she sent them that way. They were in a solid envelope, no window, flap stuck down at the back & with signature required. we asked at the desk of the PO. I forget the exact cost but it was around $7 I think.
Well worth it for peace of mind. Everyone was happy then.

I think when I looked last night it was about $9 for express with signature. The SOD was $2.95.

To stop it bending and/or creasing, cut two strips of cardbox box just a little bigger than the ticket. But make sure the cardboard pieces have opposing flows of "pattern lines" and this will make a lot of strength. Tape the sides to keep it together. It will still be thinner than the 2 cm letter limit.
I send all my small books this way.
