Yes, bidders are allowed by eBay to retract a bid

You do know if that filing cabinet thing you have listed for 1 cent only gets one bid, that is what you need to sell it for?

And that as you have no feedback as a seller for over a year, you are seen by eBay as a 'new' seller and as such all funds will be on hold

Have you fully completed sign up to managed payments?

Please make sure you are up to date with all the rules etc for sellers

If not, a retracted bid will be the least of your annoyances

Definitely make sure you're signed up to the new Managed Payments, but since your items are all for pickup, why not just state Cash on Collection? That will make things a lot easier.

better that they withdraw their bid than be the winning bidder and not pay.

I understand that they have annoyed you.  What you can now do is put them on your Blocked Bidder List to prevent them from ever bidding on an item of yours a again!

Also fifijess,

I think you’ll find that your tapestry side table, is actually a footstool 😘

And….. if I lived closer, I’d actually buy a couple of your items….. but alas, I’m too far away.
What a shame. 😉
