I'm getting some bizarre fees, perhaps someone can explain this. I've made two sales in one day to a same client (two transactions). Items were in same category. Ebay charged me 7.3% on one and 11.9% on the other. Am I missing something here or is Ebay screwing me over? Take a look below at the fee statements.

I've been warned that manage payments will attract higher fees but this? What the hell is variable percentage, they charge what they want without specifying how much or what. Looks like having a store is no longer worth it on MP.

You don't need to know that

Thought so.
Did you realise there are 2 different electronics categories, one in Teir 4, one in tier 1. is that why you dont want to tell us

, but you must admit it is far better then the 18.55% fee's you were claiming to be hit with before managed payments.

Depends on what you're comparing it to, doesn't it?
"Sounding" high doesn't mean much, sellers only have to ask themselves one question - can I work with this?
If the answer is yes, , or at least "I can try", neat. Hope they have great success on eBay.
If the answer is no, well that sucks for selling on eBay and I hope they have better success elsewhere.
Any other answer is only going to serve to make every single step on the way to the ultimate resolution as miserable and painful as possible - no point, not worth it.

Dear Mr Retro.......... @bgw....... Do you want to post the item numbers. or do you want me to do it for you.
You really are a J..K with all the rubbish you post on here, especially since you have been on managed payments since at least August.
If you have not got the hang of it by now, then you really should give the game away.

Hi all, it seems the OP has been playing everyone on the boards for fools, with all the rubbish he posts about managed payments.
Should I out him.

Hi Padi. Would not be the first time, anyway anyone with half a hour to spare can readily follow the breadcrumbs, almost as easy as tracking a polar bear in the snow,

Yes please,
I started to look at their past history on here yesterday, that is when I dug out the 18.55% fee thing, I notice their they were asked for more detail none supplied.
Also looking at the other 20 or so posts they have started alone, they are very unhappy campers, and as I think you have noted some inconsistencies in the story.
