not sure if we're able to post the actual sellers but I was looking for a heat press and 2 sellers in Brisbane were selling them (with free shipping).
Problem is- the feedback profile says:
Member since: 20-Nov-07 in China. and
I'm confused- is this breaching any Ebay rule?
The negative feedbacks are a dead giveaway so no chance I'd be throwing them any money
but they both have feedbacks of 99.7% and 99.5% so a few folk have.
Any how- buyer beware.

Yes, it is item location misrepresentation.
Those feedback levels shouldn't stop you buying - you're talking 3 in a thousand and 5 in a thousand unsatisfied buyers. What are your expectations?
Pay with Paypal and keep an eye on transit times.

Depends on where the actual item is.
When it says it is in Brisbane, but they post via Expedited Int'l Shipping...well then it is somewhat suspect.
This is one thing that really annoys me, and I see it so often. And yes it is against ebay Policy.
I read somewhere that ebay was going to bring in something where Item Location was by postcode - but haven't heard any more on that. And even then, how many 2000 and 3000 postcode are going to pop up? But will be curious to see what the postcode of ///, Australia is though 😮

people can be registered in China and have a warehouse here; in that case they can legitimately list as located in Sydney, or whatever. If it is obvious that the item is in China, then report them for location misrepresentation.
I cannot see how listing with postcode would improve anything. They just put in any postcode they wish. And having automatically showing post code where the ID is registered would not do any good either, people do not necessarily have the item at their registered address.

A few of the feedbacks were still waiting for their items and maybe paid via bank transfer.
Staggers belief going thru some high 95% + feedbacks the 100s of negs warning "scam- avoid" etc.
