Buyer has left positive feedback "not the right size" for EVERY SELLER! 50+

I recently received a positive feedback "not the right size".  Item was new, clearly tagged and photos put on listing.  Well known brand.

Checked the buyers feedback and EVERY SINGLE feedback they have left has been "not the right size" (apart from 5 at the beginning where she loves the items).

So according to this lady, her 47 most recent clothing buys on there have been "NOT the right size".

She uses this as negative and positive feedback.

Proves again, eBay feedback from buyers is meaningless, as is feedback from sellers.

I'm thinking maybe it's DIET time for the buyer.

The case you've mentioned is interesting

I don't agree with you about the value of Feedback though

Feedback is invaluable from the buyer's point of view imo.  Saved me making a mistake early today.  The seller's Feedback percentage looked fine at first glance.  Reading the Negs and even Neutrals was a real eye-opener.  SAME type of complaint from individual buyers as far afield as Germany to US.  And all of them warning about the seller in question.  A look at the time span revealed the sellers have been guilty of the same thing for over a year.  So it looks clear to me that they're pulling in the money from the unwary using a practised scam and have no intention of improving their ways as long as ebay grants them top-seller status and tolerates their presence and activities

I'm very grateful for those buyers who took the time to write those Negs, because they saved me from becoming another potential victim

At least she leaves positives and doesn't just neg.

Do you list the measurements of the garments in your listings?

That was very rude.

Doesnโ€™t expecting the unexpected make the unexpected expected?

I wouldn't worry about a silly comment like that coupled with a green dot,  considering the number of buyers who come to the boards complaining of problems when they have bought from sellers with a plethora of red and grey dots I would imaging that even more will only look at the percentage and check out the reds if there are any.

I would be tempted to leave a follow up saying "Sorry your butt is too big for the dress/pants/skirt" but wouldn't actually do it ...................... probably ........................ possibly................... maybe................ oh what the heck]:)

Since she has found 47 items to be the "wrong size", I did reply to the feedback suggesting that perhaps she goes on a diet.  I strongly suspect that 47 sellers weren't wrong ๐Ÿ™‚

My point is, feedback is useless these days, when someone uses "wrong size" as positive AND negative feedback for 47 transactions - there is no point?  This woman is clearly not the brightest crayon in the packet.

I suspect that the comment was a default due to using a mobile phone. There was a discussion about this a couple of months ago.

Just shows how laziness works. But a green dot is a green dot. It could have easily been red, the way the eBay app malfunctions.

I agree, I doubt 47 sellers could all be wrong, but, why does wrong size automatically mean an item is too small for the buyer? Quite possibly the buyer is ultra thin and the item is too big.

The follow up you left, only shows you to be an extremely rude seller and will only highlight the comment left for you.

It's happened to me too - buyer left a positive with strange negative comment, the same comment she'd left for about 20 others. I contacted her. It turned out she'd been leaving feedback on her iPhone, which retains the last comment left, and hadn't noticed - who would when the feedback textbox is out of sight beyond the bottom of the screen!! ..... just clicked the green dot and submit. Yet another flaw in the feedback mechanism when using a mobile device.
