Buyer has paid for item.Paypal confirms. Ebay opening unwarranted unpaid case. Can't reset.

Paypal confirms a buyer has paid within one day for an item.  Ebay shows its paid for in the icons, but underneath it says it is

opening an unpaid item case. I do not want this buyer who is a very experienced eBay user getting this unwarranted notification.

I have tried to correct this in the drop down menu but it will not change.  Can someone please assist me

Possibly contact the Buyer and tell them exactly what is happening.  It may just let them know that there is a "clitch" and you are onto it.

Have you tried selecting 'Turn Off Unpaid Item Assistant' from the drop down menu?

As far as I am aware, an unpaid item case cannot be initiated unless you actually have Unpaid Item Assistant turned on.

No problem. I have had to do that before with buyers who pay by eCheque.

One might think that an "initiated" payment would put the automatic unpaid item case system on hold, but not so the case...
