Buyer hasn't confirmed pick up

Does the buyer have to confirm pick up with their 6 digit and QR code in order for the payment to be released to the seller?

The QR code protects you against an item not received claim.

As you haven't sold for a while, eBay will treat you as a new seller and your payment will be on hold.

Are you registered to sell and  signed up for managed payments ?
