I sold 2 mulberry plants in a pot for pick up only in QLD 4506. this was won by a buyer in South Australia. I sent a message in the invoice . pick up only, also sent message before item ended stating the plant was for pick up, sent a message to buyers email address used in PayPal transaction, informing that if the plant was posted it would not survive 5days in transit, also told the buyer if she was to take responsibility for the plant I would post at a extra cost of $12 , the buyer paid $6 cost of plant. through a e cheque with PayPal I cancelled the transaction. I sent a email asking the buyer to contact me, her email address that is used in PayPal will not respond emails are returned to me. I have sent 3 messages using eBay, today the buyer again sent a e cheque for $6 that takes several days to go through, I again cancelled the PayPal transaction as I am being ignored by the buyer, the buyer must know what is going on, I cant keep cancelling the $6 transactions, as I have to pay fees to PayPal, please help me sort this out.

I had a look at your listings and although I myself would question the delivery others may not. It says Free delivery. You do have local pick up offered but not local pick up only. You also have delivery information on your listing and say you post to Australia, so it could be confusing for others. My advice would be to put local pick up only and remove the free postage part. You may have to take a negative feedback and I would just leave a response comments saying you made a mistake in listing and couldn't send the plants out of state. I think most people would be understanding if they saw that and not let it stop them buying from you.

The details in this post are correct. My wife and I used to own a S.A garden nursery ( for 17 years ) within a few Km. of the Victorian border. DONT SEND IT, as you could receive a nasty fine.

South Australia is surrounded by desert to the East, North and West. The desert provides a natural barrier to the introduction of plant pests/disease. The only way plant pests/disease can get into South Australia is to hitch a ride, which is why they have strict regulations regarding transporting/sending plant material into South Australia.
DO NOT SEND PLANT MATERIAL INTO SOUTH AUSTRALIA
