I sold 2 mulberry plants in a pot for pick up only in QLD 4506. this was won by a buyer in South Australia. I sent a message in the invoice . pick up only, also sent message before item ended stating the plant was for pick up, sent a message to buyers email address used in PayPal transaction, informing that if the plant was posted it would not survive 5days in transit, also told the buyer if she was to take responsibility for the plant I would post at a extra cost of $12 , the buyer paid $6 cost of plant. through a e cheque with PayPal I cancelled the transaction. I sent a email asking the buyer to contact me, her email address that is used in PayPal will not respond emails are returned to me. I have sent 3 messages using eBay, today the buyer again sent a e cheque for $6 that takes several days to go through, I again cancelled the PayPal transaction as I am being ignored by the buyer, the buyer must know what is going on, I cant keep cancelling the $6 transactions, as I have to pay fees to PayPal, please help me sort this out.

1.
Cancel it, block the buyer, ignore and move on. You may get a neg, but you should be able to get it removed.
2.
Post the damn thing and when they open a INAD dispute coz it died in transit, show paypal the many emails you have sent
3.
Pull the contact details and call them

is it possible to revise the invoice and add to it the cost of a courier to the destination? I.e. in the postage cost section?
It may make the buyer think twice before paying again, and if they do, all well and good, hand it over to the courier and you have done the best you can?
apart from that, I'd ring eBay and Pay Pal. (I'd actually do this first)
{plus best check if you are even allowed to send plants and dirt to SA - they might have restrictions about what can be taken across the border)
Good Luck with it.

JMO but ring the buyer.
I can't understand why your emails are bouncing back from an email addy that she is using for Paypal-that's weird.

I also would give the buyer a call and if you have no luck there, call eBay and get advice.
What a pain in the backside buyer you've got there OP 😞

DO NOT SEND
South Australia has strict rules for transporting plants/soil into their state. I know, because every time I go there I see the road signs regarding plant materials (I'm live an hour from SA).
I would send the following link to the South Australian buyer and tell them that you are not comfortable sending plant materials into SA
http://www.pir.sa.gov.au/biosecuritysa/planthealth/importers
Here is just one little bit from that site:
"There are strict regulations and requirements regarding the entry of fruit, vegetables, plants and plant related products into South Australia. These are not permitted to enter unless accompanied by Plant Health certificatication declaring that the produce is free of disease or has been appropriately treated."
If YOU send plant material into SA you may find yourself with a "please explain" from the relevent SA authority.

Thanks everyone for your advice. will contact eBay as I have not come up against this kind of transaction before. the buyer has good feedback, have sent a new invoice with postage included, and will not guarantee plants arriving in a good condition, the buyer is in Loxton SA could take a week to get there. have a nice day everyone.
