Buyer no reply several emails what's next step

Just wanted to check if anyone has had this situation before I sell personalised products so 99% of the time the buyer will leave me a note or send me a message with the details required but I have had a purchase from June 1st and have emailed the buyer several times to get the details required for the item but as of yet had no reply.  How long should I wait or would you just refund?

Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚

Buyer no reply several emails what's next step

Is there a phone number on the order sheet?  Or try the personal email, on the Paypal payment notice?

They paid, but didn't get back to you with the personalised details required? That is a bit odd.

As it has been over 3 weeks since the sale, I would refund them the money.

Maybe these buyers really are in hospital or really did have a death in the family ๐Ÿ˜„

It seems weird that someone would pay and then cut contact, usually that just happens when they haven't paid. I'd be interested to see how this turns out, for both the sellers.

Will the OP issuing a refund trigger a defect?

You can pull their contact details to try to get a phone number by searching here: http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/ebayadvsearch/?rt=nc (click 'Find contact information' then enter their user ID - they will also get an email notifying them of the request for details, along with your contact details).
