An idiotic buyer bought one of my items today without reading the description. I clearly stated *PayPal Only*, but they insisted on paying with bank deposit. I'm furious
I denied this, and now I'm left with a whooping $19 in seller fees. I opened a case to close the transaction, but it seems the buyer is evading and ignoring it. I have a strong feeling that this buyer is a scammer due to their low feedback, and only being an account for a few days.
I'm wondering if there is a way to get these fees revoked. I refuse to pay $19 to ebay just because of a non-paying, possibly scamming bidder.

If they are new to eBay and don't have a paypal account, what can they respond with?

how does the OP know the buyers a scammer
bit rough on the seller not cutting the buyer some slack, maybe the OP will cop a neg off the buyer

Just ignore the nosey posters questions, its just their opinions and beyond that its none of their bees wax why you prefer Paypal
Unfortunately lots of buyers don't read descriptions in full. As frustrating as it may be, it just is pretty much a factor that sellers need to be aware of when selling on eBay. .

A PayPal account is verified by adding a bank account, debit or credit card.
Unverified accounts will have limits on sending and receiving funds (usually $500 in Australia), and all accounts are required to be verified at some point.

You really should have finalised the first transaction before relisting, if you now open (or have opened) an NPD and the buyer pays by PayPal you could well have a disgruntled buyer on your hands and end up with a neg along the line.
As well as 2 lots of FVFs.......

Not nosey. There are two parties involved in the sale. The seller and a buyer. The buyer is being called a scammer by the seller, with no proof that is true. They buyer is being called an idiot as well. When it could all be a simple misunderstanding from a new to eBay buyer. I bet the buyer wasn't sent a friendly message informing them they can't pay by bank deposit.
