An idiotic buyer bought one of my items today without reading the description. I clearly stated *PayPal Only*, but they insisted on paying with bank deposit. I'm furious
I denied this, and now I'm left with a whooping $19 in seller fees. I opened a case to close the transaction, but it seems the buyer is evading and ignoring it. I have a strong feeling that this buyer is a scammer due to their low feedback, and only being an account for a few days.
I'm wondering if there is a way to get these fees revoked. I refuse to pay $19 to ebay just because of a non-paying, possibly scamming bidder.

I imagine that both PJ and chooks have repeat customers because they took the time to help out new buyers through the somewhat daunting process of bidding, buying and paying for the first time on eBay.
Yes I was a newbie once (surprise surprise) and did get a fair bit of help from some of my first sellers - and they are still sellers that I deal with today, often in preference to other sellers selling the same item and cheaper................
Go figure..................
IMHO the new buyer was at fault for not reading the full description (on an Iphone maybe - we all know how glitchy they are) but the seller possibly could have handled the situation better in hindsight.
Count to ten springs to mind.................
I sincerely hope this situation turns out well for both the seller and the buyer.

Now that's absolutely ridiculous. I also stated "PayPal only" in the description.
It's not ridiculous, there are very well documented problems relating to iphone's not being properly compatable with eBay's pages, in that they do not show the whole page a lot of the time.
I honestly believe you could have handled this situation better, as it stands there are going to be no winners in this situation, as I said previously you will probably end up with defect on your account for the cancellation, possibly get 2 FVF's and if the buyer pays then you'll quite likely be looking at a neg and some low DSR scores.
