An idiotic buyer bought one of my items today without reading the description. I clearly stated *PayPal Only*, but they insisted on paying with bank deposit. I'm furious
I denied this, and now I'm left with a whooping $19 in seller fees. I opened a case to close the transaction, but it seems the buyer is evading and ignoring it. I have a strong feeling that this buyer is a scammer due to their low feedback, and only being an account for a few days.
I'm wondering if there is a way to get these fees revoked. I refuse to pay $19 to ebay just because of a non-paying, possibly scamming bidder.

What do you have against bank deposit? The buyers money is deposited in your bank a/c with no fees, unlike Paypal payments. Paypal fees (.30c + 2.4%)
No way would I complain if a buyer wanted to put $190 (? guessing there) in my bank account. Even though I prefer Paypal, I still offer bank deposit. Offering only one payment choice limits the number of buyers.
Why would a scammer pay by bank deposit? Once the funds are in your bank account, they can't get them out again.
They can't make any claims on you for item not received, not as described etc as bank deposit has no buyer protection.
If they are a new buyer, they probably haven't got their head around opening a paypal account yet.

Should've mentioned that I don't have a bank account, and refuse to use one for personal reasons.
There's no need to be so rude.

How do you get your funds out of paypal, if you don't transfer them to a bank account.

Silly me, I assumed if a person had a PayPal account they had to have a bank account linked to it..........

Not much use asking for advice here then is it? If your set of personal circumstances prevents you discussing the matter.
It is a pretty normal assumption that the majority of people, eBay sellers included have a bank account.

I thought sellers had to have a bank account attached to their paypal account?
You have sold a number of reasonably expensive items....is all that money sitting in your paypal account?

If you can't prove the scammer bit, you shouldn't have that on your listing. How can an online seller get scammed by having funds transferred into their bank account?? You have probably upset some new ebay buyer and put them right off.
I hope you explained politely that you don't have a bank account, so can't accept payment that way.
Relisted due to bank account scammer. If you cannot pay via PayPal, DO NOT BID!
