I have been having some problems with some of my recently listed items, specifically with buyers wanting to pick up item where I expressly state in the description that I do not offer pickups, that I only offer postage on my listings.
I haven't had the problem before, but suddenly I have had a few, including one prospective bidder who threatened me for not allowing pickup in response their question.
I am wondering the best way to tactfully handle the situation through replying to the buyer.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

The postage for the parts is calculated by actual weight and the size of the box and 500-600g extra for packing materials at a added cost of 3-4 dollars. One motherboard usually end up weighing over 1kg, sometimes 1.3kg with copper heatsink insert, so it doesn't take much to push it into the 2-3kg weight bracket after packing. Some of the lots with CD drive/floppy end up weighing 5kg+
But yes, thanks for the advice I will try to resolve the issue. Honestly though, I really don't want to have to deal with pickups or meetings.

if your products weigh over 500grams then your postage fees are fine , i dont know what these other posters are talking about $14 is what your charging and if it has to go in a 3kg bag then your cheap. and for the tshirt if you put it in a 500gram bag $9 is not over the top when the bag costs about $7.50 +fees
at the end of the day if you dont want pick ups ,thats your business, and even under the law you must say no pick ups allowed on your add , and you have done so.
also it does not matter what postage you put on ,its the total at the end that counts.

Did you know that one 500g prepaid bag purchased over the counter at australia post is now $8.25 !!!! Even though the postage is still only $7.45. Think the price of these prepaid bags may have recently increased.

so the op is not overcharging $ 9 something to post when you add ebay delivery %
so why are all these posters complaining about the op delivery charges mmmmmmm

It seems like most of the OP's items are 'calculated' postage, so the further you are away, the more it costs ........ I have sometimes found that ebay calculated postage is not always the most cost effective or sometimes even accurate. Many times, I have listed a heavy item as 'calculated postage' when the final postage cost is quite a few $ less OR a cheaper option (depending on postcode) is a prepaid satchel; particularly when items can go in the 5kg bag which costs $17.10 (I think).
I need to check on the current prices of these satchels as I was unaware of the price rise of the 500g bag .......

AP does increase prices twice a year but not all services increase every time.
