Just had a buyer that was sending me slightly odd messages, so checked feedback and noticed they have negged every second purchase they've made, the latest was for a $3.25 purchase. What can be done about this ? I've worked so hard to gain my 100% but feel this person likes to throw their weight around over very little

The messages have ben along the lines of..." Oh yes, 37.. That's right hahahahaha...or " I saw you changed your price, I'm perceptive you know". Ummmmmm....I'd lowered it :/. Just odd " I'm watching you" kinda messages

Try not to loose too much sleep if you get a negative, it's not the end of the world and you will still sell items on eBay. Some sellers have pages of them and still get plenty of sales.
If you are really worried about getting a negative try and minimise your chances of getting one ( some of these cost money so you have to decide what you are willing to pay to reduce the chances of a neg. Remember there are no guarantees, you are just trying to swing the odds in your favour.) Post the item quickly (same day as payment if possible), even consider Express Post. Make sure it is well packaged and no chance of breakage in transit, don't use cheap second-hand packaging. Leave glowing Feedback straight away (this really hurts if they still leave a neg, but you are trying to reduce the chances), and email them after you have posted thanking them for their purchase and that you have just posted their item. Personalise the sale with a little note in the package, the more that they think they know you the less chance of a neg.
Others may have more suggestions.

You make good points. Needed perspective on the matter

Good advice.
When I get the "Most Watched Items" email from eBay each week, I like to click on the items and view the seller's feedback. There are always so many sellers who cop anywhere from 30 to 100+ negative feedback in a 30-day period who are still selling away like crazy. Some of the remarks indicate absolutely disgustingly awful customer service (pretty much total ignoring of a customer's problem) and yet these sellers continue selling items like hotcakes.
I hear stories on here of one buyer bringing down a long-standing honest, reliable and good seller after just one item which went missing or was damaged, yet the bigger sellers who cop so many negatives each month seem untouchable. I think it's all about proportion of positives to negatives.
The truth seems to be that when the majority of sales in the thousands each month go without a problem, these sellers (or any seller once they make it this level of selling) simply don't have the time or care to worry about those sales which go wrong, and know their ratios/success protect them from any negatives which occur.
I remember the sinking of my heart every time I copped a negative, but I learned that selling goes on pretty much with no change. These days, I don't think too many people care about feedback before buying, it involves more clicking and reading, and lots of buyers don't bother to read all the info on an item listing as it is!

Unbelievably the buyer has managed to neg someone again today, over a.99 cent item.
Is it worth even bothering discussing it with ebay..I imagine not,
