A buyer opened a case on an item not received. Tracking was provided and the item delivered 5'days ago, with no hassle.
However the funds are being held due to this case being opened and now the buyer won't resond so the case will close and funds to be released.
How can I close this myself?

You must enter the tracking number into the dispute, otherwise the buyer could still be refunded if/when the case is escalated.
There is a minimum number of days that must pass before a case can be escalated, but once the tracking number has been uploaded to the case and the option to escalate it becomes available, you can opt to do that. I'd personally be a little wary of it, and would be more inclined to contact eBay via phone (I have a low trust threshold for automated systems).

This exact scenario happened to me and I uploaded tracking, then escalated the case when it became available to do so. Escalating it was a mistake because eBay quickly sided with the buyer and refunded everything. I got on the phone to eBay and explained everything all over again and then they gave me back all the money when they realised they had ruled incorrectly.

eBay will always find in favour of the buyer if you escalate or "ask ebay to step in and help" - NEVER ask them to step in & help. I made a complaint about this process and was told "eBay thoroughly investigate blah blah blah" BS they do not, they immediately close in favour of the buyer!

If the buyer never responds or escalates the case then after 30-days (from when they opened the case) it is supposed to close automatically with no penalty to the seller.
We had one like this recently and even tho the 30-days passed nothing happened. It still sat there opened.
So I got on the phone to ebay and they agreed it should have automatically closed.
They said they passed it to their techincal team for investigation. 3/4 days later it did close.
If this happens then the buyer cannot open any further ebay case on that transaction but they can still open a PayPal case for up to 180 days. So beware of that scenario.
