Hi all.
As title says, I've listed an item for sale through auction. I received a few bids within few minutes before auction ends, but finally someone won the auction in last minute and won the auction but says he mistakenly bid and wants to cancel! Whats the best action to deal with this issue?
Thanks.

Wouldn't I get charged from ebay if I cancel?
No. You will get the fees back when the buyer accepts the cancellation.
If there is no 'buyer is a dh changed mind' option for the cancellation, use 'There is a problem with the buyer's address'. That is the only safe reason and is as truthful as the buyer's claim that they bid accidentally.
Once the cancellation goes through, you can offer the item to the next highest bidder. It wouldn't hurt to contact that bidder now and let them know why they are getting the offer.

I have three option under "Cancellation" :
Should I select the second option? Buyer asked to cancel the order
or the last option?
Thanks

Number 2.
The cancellation should go through straight away that way.

Your fees are refunded if you cancel the sale. If you don't cancel you will still be charged the fees.
If you do a second chance offer to the underbidder you will pay the fees on the lower amount.
You will not be out of pocket if it is done properly.

Thank you all, for your help.
I chose the second option. I hope it all goes smooth.
