I sold an item and I swear when I first saw the email showing instant payment recvd, the buyer was in Massachusetts. I even joked about it with my wife - about sending this t-shirt from Australia to Mass. Wow!. So, today, I'm getting the packaage ready to go out and the buyers address is now showing up as in Thailand. WTH? I would have definitely remembered that. I don't sell very many items (1 a month maybe?) and have never shipped anything to Thailand. The Paypal transaction says Thailand, the email I recvd from Paypal says Thailand. I know it said Massachusetts before. How can this be? Should I be concerned?

Check the ebay Sales Record, and the PayPal payment - the address should be the same on both.
So long as the addresses in eBay and PayPal both say "Thailand", you're covered.

You are only covered by paypal if you send to the address given by paypal.....doesn't matter what the ebay notification says.
It is quite possible that the original buyer is in the USA but wants it sent to a different address.....nothing suspect in that.

The eBay email no longer shows a buyers address. Hasn't done for ages. Only way to see it is to send an invoice, or check the order details after payment. It's also in the PayPal email. What shows on the send an invoice screen could be completely different to what shows in PayPal and the order details, as the buyer can change the send to address to anything they like during checkout.
