IMO it it pointless blocking a buyer, for me anyway, other sellers may find it useful. What do you want to block the buyer for?
If a buyer really wanted to trash a seller account they can, and ebay can do next to nothing (something) to stop it.
Assuming ebays info is correct with the blocked buyer activity list, not a single member on my blocked list has ever tried to purchase from me again. I have about 20 members on there.

Because they didn't pay? The usual reason
You would not know. If they are on your BBL, then they don't get the chance. And you don't get notified. Seems your BBL actually works.

That tells you the bidders who get blocked from your auto blocks.
Specific members on your BBL don't get notified.
