Can anyone tell me why the option to relist for free up to 3 times on unsold items has vanished?

I have just noticed on my older and new listings that the option to relist for free on unsold items is no longer there?  Have they done away with it, or is it just on mine for some reason?

It's still there. Just make sure you tick the box when you relist.

You need to select continue and it appears at the bottom of the final page before submitting the listing.

Or if you use the quick listing tool it's at the bottom of the only page 😄

OP, you haven't exceeded the $$ limit (not sure what it is) have you? I know after you have earned X dollars the option isn't available. If you haven't exceeded the $$ limit (someone else should be able to say what that is), then try clearing out your browser cache and cookies, then restart your browser. That usually works for me (and is what eBay CS advised when I initially had that issue).

You could also try a different browser and see if that helps. Reboot your computer as a last resort.
