Hi guys
This morning I prepared an item via Click and Send, printed out labels etc.
Then I noticed a tracking number has automatically been added to the transaction
in my ebay and it is also marked as posted!
I am not happy about this as I want to be the one to mark it as posted AFTER it
has actually been posted. While I will try my best to get this item sent out today
I am generally unable to post everyday and sometimes there might be a delay
of a few days. This is a hassle because now I have messaged the buyer and
told them it HASN'T been posted even though it says so on ebay.
Is there a way to disable this (via ebay OR Click and Send) and then put the
info in manually afterwards? I don't want the buyer getting incorrect info....

You can Create an Item and then type or copy/paste the buyer's name and address without clicking on the Add Items button. Then once you've posted the item you can manually add the tracking number into eBay.

can you mark it NOT SENT?

Yes we too have had this problem.
But it hasn't worried us too much because we always mail out on the same day we receive payment.
Well... pretty much as long as payment is in by about 2pm.
The only annoying part about it for us we then have to go and find the item on our paid & posted list to leave FB for the buyer because it is gone from our awaiting postage list.

After a PO run we open the Paid and Posted list, select all and then click Leave Feedback.

Chezzy, if there's going to be more than a day's delay between creating the label and actual posting the only way to not have it auto marked in eBay is to create the label in C&S without importing the sale info directly from eBay.

It has been a long time since I have used Click and Send (and overseas for that matter) so I wanted to have all the correct details in the system for my records. Next time I will see if there is a way to do it with out it filling in the ebay info. I was not aware it was going to automatically report that it had been posted though! In the past I have manually entered tracking info in under my ebay for sold items - but I was using prepaid satchels in that case and not Click and Send.

I am just a casual seller and generally can only post a couple times a week (buyers know this). I just think the
info is misleading - heck the thing was saying posted with tracking # filled in and I hadn't even gotten out of my PJs!

Actually I quite like it - it saves coming back later and filling in tracking numbers manually - I am a bit short-sighted so would probably get the tracking number wrong.
Nobody has ever written to me saying "hey you didn't post it that day" so I think buyers like it too.
As a buyer, I hate it when sellers don't fill in tracking numbers - it is so easy to use, and stops the feeling that we are just throwing money into the void with no response.

If your buyers check the tracking it will only show as manifested, anyway, not lodged.
