Afternoon all,
Does a question like this seriously irritate you? Don’t people understand just how much monitoring goes on? They place us in jeopardy too.
I mean, I’m really easy to get along with and I enjoy chatting with customers through their mail, but just lately, the last 2 months or so, this one question is really irritating me. It didn’t happen much once, but just recently - Grrrrrrr!! Some even leave a phone number with just two words, “Call me”. Not on your life Buster!! Nor will I respond to your rude mail. These always come from people we’ve never dealt with before, so there’s absolutely no history. Do some sellers actually respond?
I’m really interested if any of you cop a bit of this too, and why seemingly so much lately, well at least here.
I’ve just whacked another Q and A in FAQ’s, not that anyone reads them, but I at least feel better.
Hope you’ve all had a wonderful day. My 45th wedding anniversary today and I’ve been seriously spoilt by him all day. Sigh!! It’s lovely. 365 days would be nice .... lol. 🙂
Melina.

I had something similar a few months back. Someone asking if I was on Instagram as they were interested in buying in bulk from me. I said I wasn't, so they wanted my email address so they could send me instructions on how to set up Instagram. I explained eBay's policy on sending details and also offers to buy and sell off eBay. I said if one of us broke the rules, we'd both be punished.
He was still being insistant, so I said if he wants me to send him an email, the best way to go about it is to buy something, pay via PayPal and I would then have his email address (they are now showing up again in the PayPal notifications). Of course I've never heard from him again! I didn't expect to.
