Can you let potential customers know how many people are watching your item in your Decription.

I have 9 watchers on 1 item with 4 days to go. And still no bid's

I do know it will sell though.

can't see why not, but are you going to change it when that rises to 10, 11, 12 etc or goes down to, 7, 5. 3 etc?

seems like a lot of hard work

Might be a policy about it, sure someone else will know

But I reckon, apart from creating an awful lot of work for relatively inexpensive items, it kinda makes you desperate to sell it.

At leasst when eBay does it its not us doing it iykwim and is out of our control....

Why do you think knowing the number of watchers will influence anything? You may get the rare newbie who places some significance in the fact that that an item has watchers but most of us know that it has absolutely no relationship to how many people will bid or how high a price it will go for.

Agree totally. I've had 20 watchers on an item and it still didn't sell. Relist saw 8 watchers and it still didn't sell. Next relist, no watchers and it sold. Not everyone who bids is going to put it on their watch list.

I've been influenced by it PJ. If it is a BIN and a lot seem to be watching it, it has sometimes encouraged me to take action. Can't remember it on an auction though? But if iot was there, as I snipe bid I reckon it may influence how high i may snipe if I really wanted the item iykwim

Any listing with a BIN shows the number of watchers on the listing.

Only a straight auction won't show watchers.

As long as there is one bid, you can see how many watchers here.
