Can you over ride the Buy it Now instant payment

I have a buyer who wants to bid on a Buy it Now item but when they go to bid it says they must pay now,they sent a msg asking if they would be able to pay on Wednesday.I am fine with that but don't know how to over ride the Buy it Now,item finishes in just over 2 hours.Thanks

Sometimes eBay implements it and it can't be overridden, unfortunately. 

I'd just end it and relist on Wednesday, sending the buyer the link.

Good idea, that should work if an offer is made, since there's no checkout process if the seller accepts an offer.

You may also be able to select another form of payment like bank deposit or money order but cannot remember if you can go back to paypal payment later.

Now that you can pay with a cc or debit card at checkout are the fees the same aspaypal or is it still via paypal.

Thanks for all your advice I decided to end the listing and relist on Wednesday.
