Chinese sellers should be banned from selling on eBay.com.au

It's disgusting how eBay Australia allows international Chinese sellers to list and sell on our site

My opposition are primarily Chinese who sell items for $1.00 (including shipping) But for me, the cheapest shipping within Australia is $7.20 + the  cost of the product. How can we compete with that? Yes, to send an item the size of two box of matches (for example) is $7.20

At the very least, our listings should get priority and appear ahead of theirs in search results

If your interested in drafting a protest, please post your interest here.

Regards

Dave

PS This is not a racial issue. My wife is Khmer (Cambodian).

I've bought from Chinese sellers before and waited 2 months for delivery. Sometimes they have a network of people in different countries sending their product. I've had stuff come from Thailand, Hong Kong, Cambodia and also from Sydney local as well. I don't know how cheap China Post really is but the wait can horrendous and sometimes the product is not good. I've stopped buying from there now, good luck anyway.

I agree because when you buy their cheap rubbish and want to return it they don't take it back and they don't refund you.

If I buy something on ebay I want to know exactly where it's being shipped from. I've stopped buy on ebay because of what's going on.

New Managing Director for eBay Australia, are you listening?

No, nobody from eBay reads the forum

Much less an 8 year old thread

Why buy cheap rubbish in the first place?  you know what it costs, don't buy it

Why not check feedback before you buy so you do know where it is being shipped from?

It will show you if the seller lies about where it is shipped from

Why not open item not described dispute, they won't have a choice but to refund

Choose to do none of the above and the complain about your choice

Glad to hear you say you've stopped buying on eBay

One less person supporting such sellers, one less person helping them stay in business
