Good Morning All,
As many of you are aware, our Click and Send website is currently down. We understand just how inconvenient this is for all of you and we are working with our provider to bring it back online as quickly as possible.
We thank you for your ongoing patience in the face of these issues and will let you know as soon as it is up and running again.

Is it likely to be up and running before the close of business today?
Doesn't look like it kaz, i see my home page on Firefox still wont show it

I am wondering, with these constant site problems, what arrangements are AP making for the following:
1) Providing postage at our local PO using the rates we have been quoted, and thus quoted on our ebay sales. Members have paid these amounts, and we cannot go and recoup higher amounts, and
2) What tracking is available at the local PO that is not going to result in a further charge. Once again, this is not catered for in our listings?
This is just not good enough for a supposedly professional company like AP. I cannot believe the lack of integrity in the system, and clearly it shows a lack of robust security specifications from the outset.
Please respond to questions above. Making alternate arrangements is one thing, but having to bear additional costs is another altogether.

Couldn't have happened at a worse time for us. It is Halloween time and we sell costumes. Tracking is essential and post office doesn't deal with them very well nt to mention the extra cost.
It is still down and may be down for a while yet. I am considering buying pre-paid satchels and then have to ay for extra tracking. But normal postage pre-paid satchels are $7.50 plis tracking, yes those extra few dollars will break the bank!

Australia Post are the ones that take control of my goods (according to paypal maybe not) yet they seem to not be able to maintain a simpleton website.
I really love your work......:)

everyone seems to love the fact that Australia Post has some form of presence here but are you for real?
At least own up to the wrong doing and hand out some credits.

Correct, I paid $6.60 instead of the normal 6.20 + I had to fork out an additional $ 1.55 for tracking.

Sorry Click and Send, this is SO SO SO NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
Yes, the sit is still down and is very inconvenient, to say the least, impacting on clients, eBay sellers and their customers. But have you noticed the complete lack of transparency and responsibility in admitting the security fault that we are "not smart enought to have noticed"? See article below which is also on a similar post.
The complete lack of reasonably easy IT security measures make this not only another colossal stuff up but one in which we are all paying for dearly. Not just in customer relations but also breaches of personal privacy. And no doubt will pay for again and again.
Autralia Post, you can "apologise for the inconvenience" all you like but until you pull your finger out and start fixing your security settings I'm not going to believe a word you say.
Sorry to everyone else for the rant, - I'm normally a very benign creature. . . . that is, until shoddy service becomes the rule rather than the exception.

Like all of you, I am fuming too
I send 20-30 satchels a day and this is killing the bank balance.
It costs roughly an extra $1.40 per satchel for the regular ones you get from the post office
I managed to get through to some poor girl at the call centre today and she was very apologetic, but I told her Aust Post need to have a back up plan for when these things happen - at least let click and send customers get the regular satchels at the click and send rates.
Aust Post completely wipe their hands of everything, as usual.
She couldn't tell me when it would be back up again
I bought 50 satchels at the post office yesterday and I cannot get anymore because I cleaned them out and they won't get anymore until next week. I have an Aust Post account that can only be used at one particulat post office so it;s not like I can even go to any other post office to get more satchels because they don't take paypal payments and I cannot use my account at another post office
A complete and utter mess
AUSTRALIA POST : DO THE RIGHT THING AND COMPENSATE YOUR CLICK AND SEND CUSTOMERS, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES !

Australia Post, please offer us some kind of work-around as it's not good enough to remove the Click and Send service which leaves us stranded with mounting parcels requiring labels.
Delays in postage are not appreciated by our Buyer and affects our Feedback.
I accept a problem has arisen but I cannot accept that you will not address the situation in this forum: please describe a concise procedure that we can follow to ameliorate the issue.
What do we ask for at our PO so that our inconvenience and financial burden is minimised?
Surely we'll be re-imbursed the difference in postage costs during this downtime: how do we apply for this refund please?
Please take a proactive stance in this desperate time for eBay Sellers!

Im glad i dont use c&s, no intention of either, im always reading of different problems all the time.
Guess what? i manage to go to my po daily to post my mail, unless its a public holiday, i never had any problems what so ever, would hate to have to use c&s.
Some sellers here, like myself have full time jobs so cant get to a post office during work hours. Thats one of the main reasons why I use C&S. The ironic thing about it is I live straight opposite a LPO but use postbox after hours to post away my satchels.
So glad you can though, good for you 🙂
