Hi
Ive been with eBay for 20 yrs and have over 500 positive reviews (never a neg) I’m looking into selling again on eBay after a break but I looked at the selling fees and got a bit confused.
it says the selling fees are now 13.5% (ok) but it also said that if I don’t meet the min selling monthly figures it’s going to cost me another 5.5% (total 19%) ?? .
I would only sell maybe 1 or 2 items a month, so does that mean I’m going to be charged 13.5% plus another 5.5% (19%) if I don’t sell more per mth on eBay to meet their min standard of sales, or does suppose to apply to businesses and store owners.o
i didn’t look at business section this was under general selling, can someone explain this to me as it can’t be right to charge occasional seller 19% ??!! Thanks in advance

Reviews are for products, not sellers
Buyers can only be given positive feedback, so only feedback you have as a seller means anything as far as being a seller goes, plus as it impossible for a buyer to get a neg
Before selling you must sign up to Managed Payments and be verified to sell before doing anything
I am not sure about the added fee you mention applying to anyone other than sellers who fall below standard ( susceptible as failing to provide tracking showing they shipped on time, sellers with defects etc etc)
But you need to read everything on selling
Including the 30 hold on your funds for being a new seller(which you are seen by eBay as, no matter how long ago you joined or if you sold anything back then) but you need to ship within you handling time
Holds will only apply if you only some now and then
Best you read all the current info you can on selling before jumping in
