I want to contact buyer before auction end. eBay says use Advanced Search 'By Bidder' .. But no such option given on the page.

Besides the dodginess of the auction, has anyone actually mentioned that you arent supposed to make contact with bidders (as a seller) before the auction ends, or have I got that wrong. open to being corrected

yep, I got that wrong, I thought it was blocked to stop sellers from trying to deal outside of Ebay.

I never have,
When we came to Australia I was one of the few who did not suffer from seasickness... despite stuffing myself with all the food I could find... lol
Parents bought a house on the Georges River & I joined the Sea Scouts so grew up sailing.
Now I skipper a rubber ducky in the bath tub.

Thank you... I am aware of the costs involved with sailing craft like this.
Why are you telling me what you would do?
According to the listing it is currently "in the water".

Sorry going by the fact you thought this would end up in tears and what would the OP do then didn't inspire me with confidence. Also if you know about sailing a vessel then saying it is in the water does not mean a lot when it comes to condition.
