Create a store and relist items sold when I was a non-store

Just wondering - 

I'm considering creating an ebay store, however I'm just wondering if when I make a store I will be able to relist the items in my 'unsold' list or if I would need to make new listings for these?

Also, is it only a recent thing that you there are promotions for 5,000 or 10,000 free listings? Or is it a regular thing?

Yes you can relist your unsold items in your store, you would obviously have to change them to BIN if they were auction items and also edit the length of the listing to either 30 days or GTC.

The latest offer of 5,000 free listings including auction format is the first time I have ever received any type of offer on my store account.
