Bidder winning my 2 current auctions has bad feedback comments and seems to be serial non payer. Have added to Blocked list. Is cancel bids an option? Doesn't seem to fit examples given to cancel bids.
Thanks to all the wonderful people who give answers on these forums. They have helped me very much to manage the ups and downs of selling.

You should have cancelled the bids before adding the bidder to your blocked bidder list. You can cancel bids for any reason or no reason at all so just do it now.

It doesn't matter which order you do it, cancelling bids and adding to BBL.
Personally I would block and cancel the bids without hesitation too.

Just thinking about all the sellers who violate by leaving positive feedback with negative comments. Hopefully when eBay removes the comments from such posts they try to educate the sellers on why it would be better for them (and other sellers) to lodge non paying bid disputes. They would get fees back. That should be an incentive.
I find most of my education on dealing with problems comes from reading this forum rather than guessing my way around the site.

It was those very comments that are likely to save you some grief and compelled you to block bidder and cancel their existing bids. Without them you would not know anything about the payment history of this potential buyer.
How do you know those sellers didn't close cases to get their fees back and ebay issued a strike ?? A seller can leave a feedback comment before they close an unpaid dispute and a strike is issued by ebay.

I am indeed grateful for the comments left (the ones that have not yet been removed by eBay) because they have forewarned me but I had to check feedback to find out. I have settings to block bidders with minimum strikes in an effort to try and avoid non paying bidders.
