Hi all
I have sold on ebay for quiet a few years and fed up with buyers who think they don;t have to read the description that says no postage. This woman as rung me so many times . She bid on my item from another state and is trying to badger me to send it there. i understand she has explained her story bla bla bla but it still doesn;t change that i don;t want to send lamps interstate as they will get damaged and it clearly said pick up in my item description. How can we stop this from happening again. Its actually never happened before but very annoying. She has my number won;t stop ringing it. ebay suggests cancel transaction which she has to agree to so i havnt heard the outcome yet? block her which I have now done . What sellers have to put up with is sometimes a joke. I also wonder can she now leave me negative feedback because I can;t wait to give my response on it if she does!
Why still can;t sellers leave negative feedback its a joke. I am also stopping my store subscription for the end of the month because of the increase in fees.
Why do buyers have it all there own way on this site. I love buying and I love selling but getting fed up with ebay as many other sellers are too now as we cannot compete with those coming in from hong kong and china what a joke ebay is becoming! Very disappointed seller . Love to hear some other sellers opinions. thanks for listening smek31

I think you can be pretty sure that the buyer will not agree to cancel the transaction. You will not get your FVFs back if they do not agree and they can, and probably will, leave a negative.
You should have started and Unpaid Item dispute and issued the buyer with a strike. That way you would get your FVFs and neither of you could leave feedback.

If you have sent the agreement to mutually can cancel then it was the wrong thing to do.
Whether she declines or accepts it she can still leave feedback of her choice. But if she accepts it then negs you it can be removed by calling ebay. If she declines it then you are stuck with it and the fees.
You should have opened a non payer dispute after 4 days then 5 days later close it and issue a strike and in doing this the option for her to leave feedback will be removed.
Again ebay staff have given the wrong answer.
You can try and call ebay and tell them what is going on and ask if they can cancel the transaction for you.
They might do this so nothing to loose by trying.
As for sellers not being able to leave neg feedback. There is a thread going at the moment which shows the very reason why it is like this.
The seller got a neut and wanted to retaliate with a neg and is now getting angry at everyone else for not agreeing with him.
This is the reason sellers can not leave negs for buyers due to many left in retaliation.

I am too dizzy to know which of your complaints/comments to respond to. Perhaps it is best for you to take step back for a while, and rethink things in a week or so. ๐ฎ

Grrrr - posted a long reply and just lost it with a forum glitch
Go to this page and read the whole thing...
http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/policies/unwelcome-buying.html
Open and read the first example in the "Some Examples" section. There is a link inside there to report the buyer

I haven't read it all, I don't cope well without paragraphs but I really don't know what your problem was.
All I would have done is said I would be happy to post and would send an invoice as soon as I found out the cost.
I would then have gone to the Pack & Send site and got a quote for their most expensive, they do the packing, fully insured service, added a hefty handling fee and added the delivery fee, probably a couple of hundred bucks, to the invoice then they could pay that much and the handling fee would make the time to take it to the P&S depot well worthwhile or they would not pay and get an unpaid item strike.

Hmmm - be careful... that link in the help page is forcing me to log out.
If it won't work for you, go to Customer Support, then Contact Ebay tab, then Selling on the left then Report A Member on the far right,
Select "Call Us" and get the WebPin and phone number. ( note the times), then refer the customer service person to the webpage that I linked to above.
