Customer refusing to pay

Hi, I received a few offers for a pair of shoes I listed. I accepted the highest offer after declining the rest. Now the customer is refusing to pay, sayin that he’s gift code is not working. I’ve texted it multiple reminders to pay. Any suggestions on what I could do?

Customer refusing to pay

Stop messaging the "buyer" and after 4 days you can cancel the order.

Customer refusing to pay

And remember to add them to your blocked list so they don't pull the same stunt on you again, and so they get a non payment strike from eBay

I suggest you list with immediate payment required on the shoes as there's a good chance you'll be messed around again.

And  also, being a new seller, a buyer may try to take advantage of you, so you'll need to be careful.

Have you registered to sell and signed up for managed payments ?
