You guys seem a lot more familiar with how DSR's work...I've seen it mentioned on here that ebay do some AUTOMATIC DSR...ing if the seller hasn't completed certain actions within a specific time frame.
What I was wondering is I have at the moment [& this happens quite a bit] a regular buyer who purchased on the 12th, paid on the 13th & then emailed me & asked me not to post it as she was hoping to buy other items.
It is now the 20th, not sure what else she is hoping to purchase but she hasn't bid on anything to date & I am still holding the parcel.
Does ebay automatically reduce your POSTAGE DSR's for not posting within the 2 days I specify that I will post in ??
Just don't want to shoot myself in the foot at the customers request.

no you dont get automatic BAD stars.
if you only offer PayPal and no other payment method and have your delivery set to 1 day, and use click and send, THEN you can get an automtic 5 , thats all.
if yr customer is not currently bidding, why not email or phone her and ask which other items she's interested in, and when should you post.

Thanks putney, I was just a bit worried about helping her affecting my 'performance' ratings.
cheers.

I would not offer combined post or any sort of discount if they paid for one item, I clearly state on my items that are not free postage that discounts are only given on items purchased within 7 days and paid for on a single invoice.
If they buy and pay for one item then I post that item off without waiting to see if they are really going to buy something else.
