Default currency for my sale items is in US dollars - how did this happen?

So I've listed a few items for sale, most for pickup or local sale only in Australia.

Why then would the prices default to listing in American dollars?!

What have I done wrong. Please put me on the right path.

Blergh, I just serached to see if this was the issue. I can see why, but find it strange that I can't change currency while making the listing. Well, problem solved, I guess, I just don't like the solution.
