Delivery Carriers

Which carriers do you think is the best one in Australia? I use Fastway for two month, but I already received two complaints for the postage time, which took nearly 10 business days. I am considering to change, but have no idea which one I should trust.

We use Australia Post as well, and we also get complaints about shipping times... I have a tracking number for one of my eBay satchels that took 21 days to get to Perth from Melbourne... Stuff gets lost, delayed, and occasionally returned back to us as if we were the delivery address... Not many other options unfortunately because of price.

You need to check Fastway's website before sending it off to see shipping times. If it lists as 3-7 days or something like that then Fastway is handing it over to another shipper, thus causing delays. Go to Australia Post or someone else if you need better options in that case.

Try Jedcart also, they are pretty good for small packages and are a reseller for fastway and TNT. TNT offers a one day shipping option also through Jedcart, which is very handy.

Just checked Jedcart out, used the free quote item, postage from Gold Coast to Melbourne for a 300gram package. It came up at $8.96... 

That is expensive. $7.25 at AusPost.

I use Aust Post and they seem to take forever to get items to WA. I will usually let the seller know that it can take 2-3 weeks to arrive. Interesting how I got a parcel from China a few weeks ago in 3 DAYS!
