Desperately seeking help! Turbo Lister will not open..I have listings

Hi, I am desperate for some help. Since Thursday night I have been wanting to upload my listings to Ebay via Turbo Lister.

Everytime I try to open the ID that has my listings in it I get the big box saying 'Turbo lister is not working, IE has detected a problem & will shut down TL'???

The thing is I have 3 Id's in TL I can open it up and move between 2 Id's that have no listings waiting to upload BUT the minute I try to change user to the 3rd one where I have my listings It shuts down again!

Is anybody having the same problem or know how to fix this?

I have about 20 listings sitting there and really dont want to do them all over again via the normal Ebay sell item pages as it means opening packages, re measuring clothing etc etc.

Somebody else posted here on Thursday night saying they were having issues also but I assumed TL was running maintenance or something as I think the same thing happened to me the previous Thursday night - but as I said It is still not working for me.

Sorry cannot help, except to say that I am using it at the moment and all is working fine for me.  I have uploaded without any hitches

As long as you have done a backup since creating those listings you can get started again quite easily.

Just create a new user id, call it the original id with a 1 after it or something, then import your listings from the last backup file.

If that does not work then chances are it is one of those recent listings that has caused the problem so try backing up from the file before that.

If you do not have the listings in the backup folder then I don't know of a way to get them back but you could try emailing turbodata@ebay.com

Darn it! I didnt back it up as I was listing then going to upload them & thats when the problem arose.

I did see on the 'hints' that you can move listings from one Id to another (possibly what you are advising me to do). I will open up one of the other Id's and see if I can bring the listings over to it that way.

Success!  Ok I managed to import my items to one of the other ID's so thats all good.

My next question is.....does this mean I can no longer use the original ID?? Even though I have imported them I still cannot open that particular Id without TL shutting down.

I will email as suggested by Phourum but I dont hold out much luck as I've done that before & never recieved a reply.

Second question...can anyone tell me how I can choose which photo will be the Gallery pic- If I have more than 1 picture TL randomly uses any picture & I cant seem to find an option anywhere to say I want pic 1,2,or 3 etc. I have been editing the gallery pic once I have them uploaded to Ebay.

As far as I am aware, it is always the 1st pic that is the gallery one.

I thought so too but what seems to happen is after I add more than the first picture TL changes them them back to the same sequence they were taken on my camera, which is very frustrating!

Yes that would be frustrating. 

My images are from my scanner which I then save to a "photo" file. 

I usually hand pick each one, as I scan many books & magazines at the one time.

As I said in my first answer create a new id, same as the old one with a 1 after it, and then import the items to that one, you should have no trouble uploading them to the original id, I am using a plus 1 version on one of my ids after the original stopped working.
